Belinda Fleiter
Administration
I am a Kuku Yalanji woman with close family connections to Wujal Wujal and Yarrabah. I have lived on the Sunshine Coast for about 30 years where my children of grown and are now raising their own children.
I am drawn to the Jeder ethos of working at the heart of change – building community, connection and holding space to share country.
My experience is built on living and sharing life through the lens of a first nation person with a purposeful goal of people achieving their best.
I am that strange kind who loves admin, I am systematic and spreadsheets excite me – I embrace structure with creativity and love listening to peoples stories – this is my cultural understanding of learning and building knowledge.
I have worked in the Health, Community based indigenous and non-indigenous organisations all with the intention of empowering the people I support and connect with. I am secretary of the Sunshine Coast Bunyas Rugby League Club where the focus is way more than Rugby League but the journey to get there.
I am enthused by the prospect of working with such an innovative organisation such as Jeder and look forward to the diversity, the people and being a part of a truly self-directed organisation.
