Northern NSW and SE Queensland have experienced unprecedented flooding emergencies and disaster since late February/early March 2022. Individuals and Communities have been left devastated by the destruction and force of the flood waters, and will experience a long journey of recovery and rebuilding. There have been many hundreds heroic situations and stories emerged since the disaster, from individuals and communities coming together to provide what ever they had available to them at that time to small acts of kindness and appreciation by total strangers.
Jeder Institute has set up a Northern Rivers/SE QLD Flood Fundraising Event designed to assist individuals with a disability, their families and community in the coming weeks/month/year. We are inviting individuals and communities, near and far, to help those that have been affected by the devastating flood disaster by making a donation. 100% of donations will be distributed to flood affected individuals and communities over the coming months (generally when people may need the most assistance).
Jeder Institute is a Registered Charity with the ACNC (link to ACNC) as a Public Benevolent Institution Status and is a registered with the ATO as Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). The Jeder Northern Rivers/SE QLD Flood Fundraising Event is a tax-deductible fund under Subdivision 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
