This artwork shares the story of the Jeder Institute and a vision of reconciliation through bringing people together to realise their individual potential and the strength of community. The central imagery highlights the Jeder institute through a large gathering circle overlayed by a traditional interpretation of the Jeder logo. This imagery along with traditional people symbols surrounding the logo reflect that Jeder is Human Centred, welcomes everyone and champions diversity and inclusion.
Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan Vision
Our Vision is for a reconciled Australia, through deep listening, truth telling, strong relationships, awareness and celebration of our rich cultural heritages, diversity, and histories.
Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan Purpose
Jeder Institute’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan is to support our journey of “deep listening, ongoing truth telling, awareness and reconciliation”.
In 2019, we established our RAP Working Group, to commence our Reconciliation Journey. Our RAP Working Group made up of members from across the organisation who will monitor and evaluate implementation of our RAP whilst encouraging other members to actively engage in our RAP actions. Our RAP enables us to strengthen our knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and how we can support reconciliation in our agency. We are committed to providing opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace.
We are committed to strengthening our relationships and partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations, and businesses. We commit to ongoing listening and learning to increase employment and development opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
