Rachel is a Jeder Collective member with a view to providing organisations and individuals with the opportunity to become empowered to manage change, by creating their own solutions.
Rachel is a registered psychologist with 12 years experience within the human services sector. She has extensive experience in supporting people with an intellectual disability and their families and is passionate about creating opportunities for empowerment and inclusion.
At Centre for Disability Studies (CDS), Rachel led the development and facilitation of a successful professional development program that sought to transform human service organisations from system centred, to person centred. Rachel is in the third year of her PhD, which seeks to understand the concept of ‘person centredness’ in both theory and practice and she has also worked in clinical roles including several years in private practice.
