Meredith is a mother, Carer, Community Leader, Facilitator, Information Sharer and People empowerer from Northern NSW!
She has been an Advocate for over 20 years and has instigated change by thinking outside the box.
She has a Diploma in Community Services Work- Welfare and ¾ of a Degree in Nursing. Certificates in Facilitation, Inclusive Practices for People with a Disability, Advocacy Leadership, Training, experience in managing supported accommodation and lots of lived experience.
She has created 2 successful peer led community groups and facilitated these 2 groups; Community Disability Information Alliance (CDIA) for 2 years.
She thrives being around other innovative, creative and diverse community members and loves sharing what she knows to help empower people as Knowledge is power.
Meredith enjoys lots of professional connections and networks locally, is a part of an innovative Working Party Group and enjoys working with families and people with a disability to help them live a life of their own design.
She has been doing NDIS pre-planning with many families, creating and delivering successful NDIS Self -Management Workshops and an Employment Options Expo and Loves working individually and in a group setting.
